From the Quarries

This week’s video seeks to address one of the problems I’ve encountered in publishing Masonic content online – responding to the inevitable comments from those who dislike or mistrust the Craft for whatever reason. No matter what evidence some people are given, they insist that it is either incorrect, or part of the ‘Great Masonic conspiracy’ (TM)!

That got me wondering whether there exists a truly independent and authoritative source for Masonic information; well versed in the Craft, but free from any hint of bias.

It was then that I heard about Open AI. You may have come across it in the media. Open AI is an artificial intelligence chatbot that is so informed and accurate that it is forcing Universities around the world to rethink what is meant by cheating. It is able to instantly produce detailed and accurate responses to almost any question. These are so well argued and precise that it is difficult to tell whether they were written by a person or a machine.

What, I thought, would happen if I had a chat with Open AI about Freemasonry? What insights might emerge?
