This Weekend – Late Victorian Esotericism

Good evening Quarryfolk!

This weekend we will be delving into the mind of one of the great figures of the 19th Century Western Esoteric Tradition, A.E. Waite.

The text is taken from his theosophical work ‘Azoth; or, the Star in the East’ and was written in 1893 – a full eight years before he became a Freemason.

I find his ironic and distant tone of voice fascinating, and I hope you will too.
