Just to let you know that I’ve just uploaded an experimental ‘out of session’ video “Freemasonry and the Western Esoteric Tradition”.
If you’ve been following the channel you’ll know that I’ve developed an interest in the nascent field of artificial intelligence. The technology is growing so quickly that literally last week’s advances are already old news.
This presentation is a complete experiment to see what can be achieved using today’s free AI and video editing tools with the minimum of human input.
– The entire video script was written by ChatGPT from the following seed prompt:
[Voice and style guide: Use a formal and academic tone paired with sophisticated vocabulary and grammar. Provide a thorough and in-depth analysis of the subject matter. Explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way. Use examples from a variety of fields, such as psychology and cognitive science. Present counter-arguments and dissenting opinions in a balanced and objective way.] Write a video script on the topic ‘Freemasonry and the Western Esoteric tradition’.
– Image and B-Roll video suggestions were provided by ChatGPT and imagery sourced from Pexels.com
– Voiceovers were created in Microsoft Clipchamp and the video was also compiled using that programme.
– Backing music themes were suggested by ChatGPT and sourced from the YouTube audio library.
Despite all of the AI help, it took a lot longer than I thought to put this together. I think I’ll go back to old fashioned brainpower for a while. 🤔
