This anonymous work from June 1924 makes some interesting, and at time controversial, observations about the significance of the Level and Plumb in Masonic tradition. I was particularly intrigued by the author’s attitude to ‘Equality’ both in a Masonry and societal context. Perhaps not a fashionable viewpoint 100 years later!
