Масонство в России

Good evening Quarrymen

This weekend’s lecture traces the history of Freemasonry in Russia. It is a story marked by repeated cycles of growth and suppression: from the lodges of the eighteenth century, through Catherine the Great’s crackdown, the Decembrist movement, the long silence of the Soviet period, and the re-establishment of the Grand Lodge of Russia in 1995. The presentation examines the personalities, the politics, and the cultural impact of Russian Masonry, and will also reflect on its position today as part of the recognised international fraternity.

NOTE: I’ve got a big weekend of Masonic commitments, so I may not be able to publish before Sunday (Australian time) – apologies if this is the case.
