Whence come you?

Good evening Quarrymen

Something new is landing on 24 January, and it asks a slightly uncomfortable question: what if much of what we think we know about the origins of Freemasonry isn’t quite as solid as we assume? This upcoming video takes a calm but mischievous look at where the Craft is really said to come from, where the evidence genuinely leads us—and where enthusiasm, romance, and repetition may have done a little heavy lifting over the centuries. Are we heirs to medieval lodges in any meaningful sense, or to a much later intellectual experiment that only borrowed the past? If you enjoy having long-held assumptions gently nudged, cherished certainties politely questioned, and familiar stories viewed from an unexpected angle, this one may surprise you enough to press play.

On YouTube Saturday 24 January.
