Welcome to the From the Quarries Community page.
Two and a half years ago From the Quarries was launched as a small site dedicated to preserving and sharing work of Masonic interest that was at risk of being lost forever. Since that time, it has grown and matured beyond my wildest expectations.
Today the archives host nearly a thousand documents and videos, and its content is viewed several thousand times a week by Masons and interested parties from around the world.
It has been truly inspiring to me to watch the site grow and to have conversations with Brethren from different cultures, orders, and jurisdictions about what Freemasonry means to them. Freemasonry truly is universal, and I am delighted to think that this project is helping Brethren from around the world to share their Masonic journeys and learnings across cultures and borders.
I am often asked by visitors and subscribers how they can get involved in helping the project to grow. This is where the idea of building a community comes in.
Putting it simply, I’d like to open up the opportunity for everyone to share their content on the site for all to enjoy.
If you have any content –lectures, presentations, research papers or any other Masonic or esoteric musings that you would like to add to the archive just go to fromthequarries.com to get in touch.
I’m happy to host audio, video, text, images, or music that you feel would add to the corpus of knowledge on the site. Maybe you have video of a presentation you have given, or an audio file. Whatever the format I’ll find a way to publish it.
Content will need to be appropriate to and consistent with, the intent of the archive and in order to avoid copyright and other issues will have to comply with the community guidelines published by YouTube. It will at all times remain the property of the person submitting the work. Full details of the terms and conditions can be found in the Community FAQ page.

How do I submit my content?
To submit your content simply email me at toowoombadistrictmasonic@gmail.com letting me know what you’d like to add. I’ll get back in touch to discuss what you’d like to do and sort out any technical details. Once your content is ready to share I’ll give you a link to which you can upload your content for me to access.
I’ll take care of the formatting, editing etc., and then upload to the appropriate part of the site. Your submission and any details you’d like to share will be highlighted on the website homepage, as well as other sections of the archive as appropriate.
