The winner of our poll held last week, The Geometry of the Royal Arch is another chapter taken from F. de P. Castell’s wonderful “Antiquity of the Holy Royal Arch”, first published in 1927.

    Thanks for this one.

    Once again it is interesting.

    I am aware of the many angles of the triangle around our double cube.

    With the double cube in the middle of both the large and small triangles there is formed more angles.

    It is amazing.

      There was a large section of text describing the symbolism of the double cube within the triangles (and what is upon it) that I cut out, because I didn’t think it was really appropriate for a ‘general ‘ audience. Fascinating stuff!
