This weekend’s lecture comes to FTQ through the generous sponsorship of ‘Multiple Hobbyist’, one of our Master-level channel members, whose request opened a door into a darker and more demanding corner of the symbolic tradition. It begins with something seemingly ordinary, almost clinical, but soon descends through layers of language, matter, ritual, and inward trial, following an old instruction that does not flatter the seeker and does not permit easy illumination. There are words that merely describe the world, and then there are words that behave like keys: cold in the hand, obscure in their purpose, and rather unwilling to explain what they unlock until one has already crossed the threshold.
